"LOOK FOR A WOMAN BEHIND EVERYTHING"

(After some protests, Mr. Bernard replaced the face of a woman in this billboard with his own face. Critics point out that this dehumanises women even more.)

Stanislav Bernard, the owner of the "Bernard" brewery, which is located in the small town of Humpolec in the Czech-Moravian Highlands, has flooded the Czech Republic with a series of highly offensive billboards with provocatively anti-feminist and deliberately racist attitudes. The billboards are supposed to be "ironic". In a number of them, highly degrading female postures are complemented with a sign "feminist edition".

The series is an interesting contribution into the debate about the deepening chasm in the values of the former communist countries and the West.

The complete set of the images from the anti-feminist billboard series, published by the Benard Brewery, is HERE
